Philips Material Planner – Magnetic Resonance in Best, Netherlands

You have the opportunity to contribute to our transformation journey towards a world class Operations organization to better serve our customers with speed and excellence.

Your role:

  • Master Tactical Planner for OMM. Plays the key connection between Buyer, PDLM, S&OP, and production planning

  • Define inventory settings and provide guidance for Master Data Team on master data based on product specific characteristics in supply, manufacturing and demand (Plan For Every Part - PFEP), and monitor and manage during the full product life cycle (including material and supplier changes)

  • Full operational ownership on OMM Functional Planning KPIs, driving continuous improvements, and managing material availability and industrial inventory

  • Manage demand fluctuations

  • Connect to buying teams on a regular cadence to review and handle escalations, risks, potential improvements etc. Manage Hot List and Meeting

  • Perform Material Planning based on S&OP Inputs, and provide feedback into S&OP

  • Operational ownership of MRP monitor

Your team

You are a part of the Operational Materials Management (OMM) Team in Best. Our organization is driving operational excellence and manufactures, refurbishes, repairs and ships our medical devices & components in a safe, compliant, and effective manner. Next to this, the OMM function is also responsible for the preparation and introduction of changes on products/ components/production processes for released products and receiving and implementing manufacturing transfers from Industrialization engineering.

In this team you are owning and driving the material planning for the MR factory in one of the biggest Operations sites for Health Systems for Business Unit MR Systems. In the team, you will work closely together with the buyers, supplier performance managers, MPS Planners, Supply Chain Analysts, and S&OP team. You will report into the MR Purchasing Team Lead.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in (technical) business studies or supply chain management.

  • Materials management knowledge, SAP MM , Supply chain knowledge, Experience with Operational procurement processes, E2E process understanding with clear milestones and deliverables

  • High problem solving and decision-making capabilities, customer-focused, accurate, persistent, assertive, drive to results, deliver on commitment, able to build bridges, strong stake-holder management, team player in a dynamic environment

  • Strong and accurate analytical skills

  • Relevant working experience preferably in a cross functional position in operations

  • Proven, strong experience in MS Excel, SAP

  • Experience in medical device industry and/or high-tech machine building industry is preferred
