The Opportunity

The Sr. Analyst - Auto Services and Reporting will be responsible for driving improvement in business capabilities and results through the development of best in class data management and reporting solutions.

The Work Itself

  • Create Microsoft Power BI Dashboards using SQL code to perform complex data extraction from multiple, large data sources
  • Create Jira/Confluence Dashboards to extract system development stories, capabilities, etc. from Atlassian Jira system
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel macros and other tools to automate daily and monthly data processes
  • Create SQL code using Snowflake and Sigma to create reports
  • Ability to use IBM Cognos Reporting for operational reports
  • Write SQL code to perform complex data aggregation, cleaning, and quality checking
  • Create and maintain data documentation (mapping, rulebooks, etc.)
  • Conceptualize organized data structures and marts to simplify data sourcing
  • Consult with internal stakeholders to document reporting requirements
  • Partner with internal IT teams to optimize data architecture and data utilization
  • Participate in data quality rule creation and testing activities
  • Proactively engage in projects to provide data thought leadership
  • Perform special projects/assignments as needed

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or data discipline (MIS, Computer Sci, etc.) required
  • Master’s degree in IT or data discipline (MIS, Computer Sci, etc.) preferred
  • 3+ years performing complex data extraction from multiple, large data sources required
  • 3+ years programming in SQL using Snowflake, Oracle SQL Developer and Power BI required
  • Experience collaborating with partners to understand data requirements
  • Experience creating data quality rules and testing activities preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Sigma, Cognos, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Power Query including pivot tables and vlookup functions
  • Intermediate knowledge of automation through VBA preferred
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus
  • Experience in Auto Finance industry (consumer loans, commercial, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to achieve balance between the right technical and business solution
  • Thorough approach and attention to detail

Base Pay Range:

Emerging: 85000

Experienced: 117500

Expert: 150000

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
