Warehouse Operator

In your role as a Warehouse Operator, you will perform a range of basic warehouse functions which may include receiving, picking and packing, replenishment, materials handling, picking and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Picking/Packing of cartons/cartons in accordance with regulatory standards and work instructions.

• Transfer of products to live stock

• Entry and registration of goods in the WMS according to ISO 13485.

• Issue and dispatch of goods (in collaboration with the customer service department).

• Execution of controls (quantity differences, damages) on the basis of quality control guidelines.

• Perform inventory checks and maintain high quality standards for audits.

• Reporting any discrepancies:

• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.

• Follow service quality standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations clean, sweep, dust and mop. Always organise the storeroom and work area so that it is tidy.

• Wear appropriate safety equipment and clothing:

• Follow safety procedures, report dangerous situations, incidents and accidents; contribute to making safety our first priority.

• Follow QMS procedures, always contribute to quality, proactively and punctually.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable working experience as a warehouse porter.

• Experience in EMS

• Familiarity with modern warehousing methods and practices.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications

• Experience with radio frequency scanners

• Have basic mathematical skills

• Be able to see priorities and act accordingly.
