JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Wisconsin School of Business is seeking the next staff Director to lead the Marketing Leadership Institute. The Institute\'s mission is to build partnerships between academia and industry to advance marketing leadership, discovery, and impact. As the Director, you will collaborate with students (undergraduate and graduate), faculty, and staff at the Wisconsin School of Business, as well as with senior marketing professionals. Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is a key part of the role. Knowledge of technology, digital platforms, and AI, especially as they pertain to the rapidly changing field of marketing, is highly valued. The ideal candidate should have outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. While experience in academic program administration and student admissions/advising is not required, it is an advantage. The Director will report to the Institute\'s academic director and manage a team of dedicated professionals. We seek a self-motivated, collaborative leader with a proven background in marketing and leadership. The MLI continues to grow by serving students across programs (undergraduate and graduate); we are looking for a person who is adaptable to change to help create greater impact. 1. Facilitate industry connection events, networking & mentoring, including the External Advisory Board and biennial Marketing Summit. a. Develop and activate an annual activity plan for MLI fostering relationships and engagement. b. Develop and maintain a strong External Advisory Board (EAB) of companies whose representatives represent the key areas of marketing and career pathways. c. Support the MLI through strong industry partnerships and communities built around the career pathways. d. Host our industry conference, the Marketing Summit, supporting lifelong learning and interaction between students, alumni and EAB. 2. Teaching & Enhancing student preparedness through experiential learning a. Teach Current Topics, a 1-credit experiential learning class on emerging topics and case study examples in marketing b.
