LATER STAGE DEBT COLLECTOR / CHARGE-OFF COLLECTOR

Credito Real USA Finance is seeking a full-time, Later Stage/Charge-Off Collector to work specifically within our Charge-Off Department. Must have a minimum of three years of experience working within a similar environment.

The Collector would be responsible for managing multiple delinquent accounts that have been charged off.

Must have the ability to negotiate with customers who may no longer be in possession of the vehicle or negotiate the deficiency.

Must be efficient in Skip Tracing techniques to communicate with customers that are difficult to locate.

DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect accounts that are past due beyond 120 days.

• Call customers that are past due.

• Skip trace to locate customers that are delinquent and collateral.

• Make arrangements and negotiate with delinquent accounts to bring current or settle.

• The Collector will need to be able to handle high-volume calls in a fast-paced environment.

• Work with the repossession department to secure collateral.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

• Skip trace Knowledge is a Must.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act

• Good computer and typing skills

  EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

  EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of subprime collections preferred.

• Auto Collections experience preferred.

  PAY: up to $75,000/year (hourly pay + commission)
