Job Summary
As the Facilities Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of messenger functions dealing with supplies, mail deliveries/pickup, fixed assets, vehicle maintenance, and other items.
Job Description
We are looking for a Facilities Clerk to provide variety of messenger functions dealing with supplies, mail deliveries/pickup, fixed assets, vehicle maintenance, and other items. This position will be contract and on-site.
What You’ll Do
Assembles and delivers office supplies as requested from Fixed Assets/Procurement staff at all offices
Verifies accuracy of orders and reports discrepancies
Maintains, organizes and inventory items of supplies at the Storage Warehouse
Receives supplies from outside vendors for the Storage Warehouse for all offices
Verifies the receipt of supplies ordered
Counts and tracks supplies
Forwards the invoice to the respective Procurement Coordinators
Mail/Messages and Pick-Up/Delivery
Serves as backup to the mail carrier
Walking Mail route delivery - Picks up, sorts and delivers inter-office mail for offices
Picks up/delivers other items for delivery to offices such as –
Bi-weekly employee paychecks/stubs and handout materials
Forms, print shop orders, etc.
Picks up and delivers records for storage or retrieval from Records Warehouse to offices
Arranges furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) for scheduled meetings in conference rooms, as needed
What You'll Need
Required:
Possess Act 33 and 34 Clearances
Have a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle
Preferred:
Completion of high school
Ability to team lift at least 65 pounds
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
