TEKsystems Surveillance Technician in Reno, Nevada

Duties and Responsibilities

CCTV Installation Technicians are responsible for a range of tasks related to installing CCTV systems in data center environment. Here are the key responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.

  • Installation: Install CCTV systems, including cabling, hardware, monitors, and cameras.

  • Ensure proper placement of cameras for optimal coverage and security.

  • Maintenance and Repair: Regularly maintain, configure, and repair systems, hardware, and peripheral devices.

  • Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning.

  • Keep detailed records of installations, inspections, and repairs.

  • Client Interaction: Assess client needs and provide advice on suitable CCTV solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong understanding of cabling and CCTV technologies.

  • Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Technical proficiency in installing CCTV systems.
