As the Manager, Credit and Collections, you'll play a critical role in establishing the newest pillar of Figma's revenue operations team. You will have the opportunity to build our credit and collections process from scratch and form a new team to support your vision. We have some exciting initiatives in store for the upcoming year - you will get to drive meaningful change! What you'll do at Figma: Develop a credit program to evaluate client risk and identify client credit worthiness; implement approval levels for extension of credit and/or payment plans for delinquent accounts. Work directly with clients to understand payment delays and work with customer service teams and clients to remove barriers to payment. Maintain, track, and report credit and collections scoreboard statistics and metrics. Update internal systems, as necessary, with contact details, conversations and issues affecting payments. Establish factoring policies and procedures that include research and analyses in order to make recommendations to the revenue recognition team. Build a team culture that emphasizes customer service, accountability, quality, continuous improvement, and bias to action while focusing on employee retention and development Customer vendor form & invoice portal management. Monitor and evaluate risk on an ongoing basis, anticipating and mitigating potential risks and calling out red flags to key partners. Proactively monitor client receivables and set weekly targets for the team to prioritize their collection efforts to drive DSO improvement. Own bad debt write-off analysis. Adhere to credit & collections policies, SOX and internal controls. Implement and maintain Dun & Bradstreet and Tesorio. Collaborate with cross-functional partners in a Slack-heavy communication ecosystem We'd love to hear from you if you have: 4 years of AR/Collections Management experience in high-volume environments 1+ year(s) leading a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient negotiation skills Ability to perform credit analysis and understanding of financial statements Strong analytical skills Demonstrated Leadership & Team-building skills Strong time management and organizational skills While not required, it's an added plus if you also have: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred Very strong Microsoft Excel skills (lookup functions, pivot tables, etc.) and prior experience working with large amounts of data Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with all levels of a company, particularly executive sales management Commitment to excellent customer service Exposure to Netsuite, Dun & Bradstreet, and Tesorio is a plus At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
